TERMITE TREATMENT

Termite Treatment methods are designed to both eliminate existing termite colonies and prevent future infestations. These methods often involve the use of termiticides, physical barriers, baiting systems, or a combination of these. It’s always recommended to consult with a professional pest control service to ensure the most effective treatment and prevention strategy for your specific situation.

TERMITE BAITING SYSTEM (TBS)

Termite Baiting Systems are an effective, long-term solution for controlling termite infestations. These systems use specially designed bait stations to target and eliminate termite colonies by delivering a toxic substance that termites share within their colony, including the Queen and King, ultimately leading to its collapse.

Above-Ground Baiting Systems are installed directly on termite trails found on walls, ceilings, or furniture. Termites consume the bait and distribute it throughout their colony. This process typically takes 6 to 8 weeks to weaken and eliminate the entire colony. Fresh bait is added if necessary. Once the termites are eradicated, the bait stations are removed. AG systems are a highly effective option for targeting specific infestations.

IN-GROUND BAIT STATIONS (IG)

In-Ground Baiting Systems are placed around the perimeter of a property, typically buried in the soil. These stations contain cellulose (treated wood) to attract termites. Once termite activity is detected, bait with an active ingredient is added to eliminate the colony. Regular monitoring and proper installation are critical for the success of IG systems.

IN-CONCRETE BAIT STATIONS (IC)

In-Concrete Baiting Systems are installed within concrete slabs or foundations to target termites in these areas. Similar to in-ground systems, IC bait stations attract termites that spread the toxic bait throughout their colony. This approach effectively eliminates termites while safeguarding the building’s structure.

Both in-ground and in-concrete systems require routine monitoring and maintenance to remain effective.

POST-CONSTRUCTION CORRECTIVE TREATMENT (CT)

This treatment protects your building from termite infestation by creating a termiticide barrier around the perimeter ground beams and columns. Subterranean termites often infiltrate structures through small cracks in joints and imperfections in brickwork. In exposed areas, they build humidity-controlled mud tubes and tunnels for protection. By establishing a chemical barrier beneath the built-up area of your property, we effectively repel termites and help preserve the integrity of your property.

To treat the soil beneath the slab, holes are drilled along the perimeter at 1½-foot intervals, each to a depth of 1½ feet. Each hole is injected with 5 liters of termiticide under pressure, ensuring even distribution at the recommended concentration. After injection, each hole is sealed with color-matched cement, resulting in a seamless and unobtrusive finish.

This treatment follows a similar approach to the coring treatment but omits the tile coring steps.

POST-CONSTRUCTION CORING CORRECTIVE TREATMENT (CCT)

This treatment aims to protect your building from termite infestation by creating a termiticide barrier around the perimeter ground beams and columns. Subterranean termites commonly infiltrate structures through small cracks in joints and brickwork imperfections. In exposed areas, they build humidity-controlled mud tubes and tunnels for protection. By establishing a chemical barrier under the built-up area of your property, we effectively repel termites and help preserve the integrity of your property.

To treat the soil beneath the slab, we begin by carefully using a core bit to remove tiles along the perimeter, allowing for their seamless reinstallation afterward. Holes are then drilled along the perimeter, spaced 1½ feet apart, with each drilled to a depth of 1½ feet. Each hole receives 5 liters of termiticide, injected under pressure at the recommended concentration to ensure even distribution. After injection, the original tiles are reinstalled, and each hole is sealed with color-matched cement, resulting in a neat, clean appearance with minimal visible impact.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION ANTI TERMITE SOIL TREATMENT (ST)

Subterranean termites often enter human structures through small cracks in joints and brickwork imperfections. When traveling across exposed areas, they construct protective, humidity-controlled mud tubes and tunnels to move safely.

Our termite treatment strategy focuses on establishing a chemical barrier beneath the built-up areas of your property. This barrier repels termites, helping protect your property from infestation.

The most effective preventive measure is Pre-Construction Anti-Termite Soil Treatment, where termiticide is applied into the soil to termite-proof the built-up area. This preemptive approach ensures long-lasting protection from termite activity.

TERMGUARD RETICULATION SYSTEM

The Termguard Reticulation System is an advanced termite prevention method that involves installing a network of pipes around a property’s perimeter. These pipes are designed to distribute termiticides—a chemical solution that eliminates termites—directly into the soil, creating a protective barrier around the structure.

This system ensures precise application of the termite control agents, offering effective and consistent protection. It is environmentally friendly, complies with building industry standards, and is engineered for long-term termite management and prevention.
